Just listened to ”hot toothpicks” episode. In the 60’s this was happening at our school. I went to a Catholic School , 1st thru 8th grade and I remember this too. There was one local pharmacy that sold cassia oil and we would buy the small glass vile and give the toothpicks ( can’t remember selling ) to our friends. Thinking back , it probably didn’t last long. The pharmacy didn’t sell it for too long . But it was so good. I nv was from a small town in central Minnesota .
